The South Loop has always been a good location for cranespotting. And with construction of 801 South Financial kicking into high gear, it just got better.
Two different people sent in pictures of cranes putting up the new cranes for the -story residential building. The photo at the top is from South Loop Spy Chuck, and down below we have Joe Zekas from YoChicago!.
The new tower from Wood Partners out of Atlanta will be 33-stories tall, with 496 residences and 348 parking spaces. The design is by Pappageorge Haymes.
