Sedgwick at Locust Takes Shape

Sedgwick at Locust

Not intimidated by Next towering behind, Sedgwick at Locust continues to evolve into the Cabrini-Green neighborhood.

In a very busy corner of the old Cabrini-Green neighborhood, wedged between two new rental towers getting all the publicity, the condo development Sedgwick at Locust (367 West Locust Street) has reached its ultimate height of six floors, as workers from Maris Construction are making headway on the 45-unit building on the former site of Saint Dominic’s Church.

The condominiums, from developer Belgravia Realty Group and designed by Sullivan Goulette & Wilson Architects, will boast 45 units in total, consisting of 2-bed/2-bath units starting in the mid $400s  and 3-bed/3-bath units that will begin in the high $600s. Floor plans show a range of sizes from 1,197 square feet up to 2,060 sf. Parking will be available in a 52-car heated garage. Residents will have a roof deck to share, while balconies and outdoor terraces will be part of the individual homes. Features will include Italian cabinetry and stainless steel appliances in kitchens, as well as on-site storage for household goods and bicycles.
