The latest hotel to wedge itself into a tiny downtown space appears to have topped out.
Streeterville Spy Paul sent in the photo above, showing the future Marriott Autograph hotel, designed by Koo and Associates, at 228 East Ontario Street.
The last time we checked in on this building, it had a full compliment of gear busily making hay while the sun was shining. Now the climbing forms for the elevator core are gone, though work continues on the actual floors.
When complete, the hotel will be 22 stories with 400 rooms, stuffed into a 60’x100’ space between the Les Nomades restaurant and a condo building.
