Two Chicago Firms, One Warsaw Skyscraper

Today we continue our series of reports we call “Chicago Exports.”

So much of the world’s great architecture is designed right here in Chicago by Chicagoans, but it’s not built in Chicagoland so it goes unseen by the hometown crowd. That’s why we are featuring the great works produced by Chicago architects continuing the city’s proud legacy as the birthplace of the skyscraper, and a global center of architecture.

Today’s Chicago Exports is a two-fer.

The people behind the Prime Corporate Center in Warsaw, Poland have put together a promotional video to celebrate their new skyscraper.  A building designed by two Chicago architecture firms: Epstein and SCB.

Prime…was developed by Golub GetHouse for Raiffeisen Polbank, one of Poland’s longest operating banks, and the building had its grand opening ceremony a little over a week ago. This video, which was produced by GolubGetHouse, stars Czarek Jarzabek, Golub’s President, our Warsaw-based team, and, the very eye-catching Prime Corporate Center.

The building stands 23-stories and 315 feet tall, and cost US$38 million to build.
