The combination Homewood Suites/Hampton Inn at 108 North Jefferson Street has risen as high as it will go in the West Loop. Jupiter Realty broke ground on the project back in April of 2015, in a neighborhood between the Chicago River and Kennedy Expressway short on hotel rooms. When Power Construction is finished, the Homewood Suites ledger will include 128 rooms, while Hampton Inn will house 210 rooms. (That’s 338 rooms total, for those unwilling to do the math.)
Designed by VOA Associates, the tower will also include 117 parking spaces, and 7,950 square feet of retail space along Jefferson Street. Jupiter Realty expects to have the hotel ready for occupancy in September of this year.
