Another Big Moment Reached as Moment Tops Out, Ditches Crane

Moment

Take a Moment to notice what you don’t see. Yep, a tower crane.

Construction is far from over at the combined developments of Moment and Sienna Flats in Streeterville, but with the tower crane having been lowered and sent on to its next assignment, it’s easier to count down the days to completion than to count up the days from groundbreaking.

Moment, the residential tower portion of the Golub project, is well over half-glassed. The 45-story tower will deliver 490 luxury apartments to 545 North McClurg Court, ranging in size from studios and convertibles to 3-bedrooms, with 5,200 square feet of retail space along the corner of McClurg Court and Grand Avenue. Its podium counterpart at 423 East Ohio Street, Sienna Flats, will boast 50 luxury flats, as well as retail space of its own, to the tune to 6,000 square feet occupying the ground floor along McClurg and Ohio. The two properties, designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, will share 290 parking spaces.

All are expected to be inhabitable before 2016 ends. Until then, enjoy some photos of Walsh Construction’s handiwork.
