We know that compact crossovers are getting more and more popular, but would you trade in the Batmobile for one? Evidently in the new superhero movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Bruce Wayne (played by Ben Affleck) tools around in a Jeep Renegade. And Batman fans—of legal driving age—can be just like Wayne with the Jeep Renegade Dawn of Justice Special Edition.

Nothing against the Renegade, but we suspect Bruce Wayne choice of ride was influenced by FCA’s “one-of-a-kind branded partnership” with the film’s production company, Warner Brothers. In fact, Dawn of Justice promises to be a veritable FCA commercial, featuring not only Jeeps but also Dodges, Chryslers, Fiats, Alfa Romeos, and Maseratis. Indeed, according to FCA chief marketing officer, Olivier Francois: “The product integration was so organic to the filmmakers’ vision and storyline, all we had to do was incorporate scenes from the movie for our commercials.”

As for the Dawn of Justice Special Edition Renegade, it’s based on the Latitude 4×4 model, and comes in a choice of Carbon Black (exclusive to this model) or Granite Gray, with 18-inch gloss black wheels and trim, as well as a gloss-black roof. The interior is—yes—black, with cloth seats, gloss-black trim, and metallic accents. The Popular Equipment Group (power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and remote start) also is included. The total runs $27,245, which is probably a lot less than you’d pay for a Batmobile.
