In the run-up to the 2016 Geneva auto show, Audi has chosen to cheekily remind everyone that its new Q1 subcompact crossover will make its first appearance in Switzerland this spring. (The blue crossover pictured above is an artist’s rendering of what it may look like.) We already were aware of Audi’s plans for a Q1—we even detailed the car using existing intel—so this doesn’t come as much of a surprise.

What is surprising, in a good way, is Audi’s two-year-late adoption of the “soon” internet meme. Using the GIF seen here, Audi pans across a car park to show a Q7, a Q5, and a Q3 alongside one another before reaching an empty parking spot and flashing the word “soon” across the screen. It’s amusing that a major automaker has deployed a GIF for promotional purposes, and we look forward to seeing the Q1 in the metal . . . soon.
